The Fay-Sholes typewriter shipping crate with a graphic label applied on two sides. Inside are what I believe are all the original shipping materials. A rare example of a virtual time capsule showing how this typewriter left the factory on its trip to its original owner. I’ve had this crate in my possession for thirty years and have never seen another. A rear piece of typewriter memorabilia.

Original lid with handle for 1889 National Typewriter. Paint peeled off and some rust but perfectly restorable. A great item for someone with a National typewriter needing its lid.
